The History of Needels Supply

When E.A. and Ferne Needels started Needels Janitor Supply out of their St. Paul, MN home in 1942, they laid the groundwork for what has been a successful janitorial/sanitary distributorship. Three generations later, Needels Supply is still dedicated to providing top quality chemicals, supplies and equipment to clean and maintain commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential facilities.

With the company’s foundation laid, son Roger Needels came on board to help E.A. and Ferne grow the business into new directions. Under Roger’s guidance, the company became not only a full jan/san distributor house, but a manufacturer as well. Needels Supply currently manufactures over 30 chemicals under the company’s extensive private label and custom-engineered product programs.

Lisa Needels, Roger’s daughter, took over ownership in 1999. Under her direction, marketing changes were made to seek out new customers, while at the same time find ways to better serve existing clients and the community. Lisa Needels is a board member of Keystone Community Services.

In 2020, Needels Supply officially celebrates 79 years of providing solutions for janitorial and maintenance professionals. Lisa has now handed over ownership of Needels Supply to the fourth generation - AcroMat LLC. The AcroMat team is excited to continue the Needels legacy into the future and continue to provide you with products and service you can trust!
